Go through the Propylea Gate and stare at the Parthenon the home of Virgin Athena! Next to the olive tree of Athena you see the temple of Poseidon with its Porch of the Maidens.
From the Hill you have an overview of the theater of Dionysos oldest in the world and the Roman theater of Herod Attikos! The other side has the Old City or Plaka and the Hellenic and Roman forums.
Departing from the Hill you see the Mars Hill known for its public trials. Continue to the impressive Temple of Zeus and its Arch of Hadrian! Our next stop is the marble Panathenian Stadium, home of the 1896 Olympiad. Drive by the glass statue of the Marathon Runner and visit mount St. George where we enjoy an aerial view of the Acropolis and Athens. Returning to the center of the city we pass by elegant neoclassic mansions and stop at the Parliament building where we see the changing of the Royal Guards in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Drive by the House of H. Schliemann, the Catholic Church and see the awesome Athenian Trilogy made of the Academy, the University and National Library! Drive by the National garden andthe Zappeion Olympic facility.
Go to the Old City (Plaka) and see the old mansions the Clock Tower of the Roman Agora the Hellenic Agora. Here you can stroll the pedestrian streets with their souvenir shops and typical Greek taverns you can also visit the museum of the Stoa of Attalos and the Temple of Hepaistos.
